This one has Alt-fn-Ctrl keys (and the fn key doesn't even do anything). He really liked it and even though it is expensive for what you’re getting, it still does the job. Definitely need to get this set. I’m happy with my purchase. The mouse buttons felt a tad cheap compared to the rest of the mouse, but clicking them felt snappy nonetheless. Designed for Windows and Chrome OS systems, the MK540 keyboard and mouse can, in fact, also connect to a Mac, although there’s no way to correctly map the keyboard’s hotkeys to MacOS functions. The three-ounce ambidextrous mouse that comes bundled with the Logitech MK540 keyboard boasts a rubberized feel on the sides, a subtly bumpy scroll wheel, and a smooth glide that made for satisfying mouse scrolling.

You can also use the middle button as a gesture control, which lets you maximize windows, switch virtual desktops, rotate items, and more, all by simply pressing the scroll wheel and scrolling up, down, left or right. Continue to enjoy your device.

It is greatly appreciated. Somehow, it disconnects and reconnects after a second or two each time I use the computer. But for the price and it not advertising itself to have a mechanical feel, I can't really knock it. Buyer beware - there are two versions of this model - this one comes with a 310 series mouse; other stores advertise the same product, but come with an el-cheapo mouse. or so, even behind stuff. This is the softest keyboard with the best layout. May be i just received a bad one.

The full-size keyboard features a familiar key shape, size, and feeling – and the contoured and ambidextrous mouse has been designed to fit comfortably into either palm. The palm rest area of the keyboard is comfortable and keeps sweaty palms from discoloring the top of our wooden desk. I type a lot at work, so I need a keyboard that has a good feel overall and smooth keys for typing. The keyboard goes to sleep after about a few minutes of inactivity, but reconnects immediately after a tap of a key.
